BenQ Blue Screen Issue Fix

When you turn your computer off, your BenQ monitor gives off a garish blue light.

The Problem

When you turn your computer off, or the computer goes to sleep, your BenQ monitor gives off a garish blue light that doesn't go off for a long time.

Hit the ButtonYou may manually turn off the monitor, but there's a very simple solution.

The Solution

HDMI Auto Switch HDMI Auto Switch
  1. Open Monitor Settings. (Typically a button to the right or under your monitor)
  2. Scroll down to System, then select it. (Hit the > or Select button)
  3. Scroll down to HDMI Auto Switch, then select it.
  4. Set HDMI Auto Switch to ON.
  5. Close the menu or wait a few seconds for it to go away.
